More DVD Releases from the Buddhist Film Society, Inc.

Festival Media, the distribution service of the Buddhist Film Society, Inc., has just made two films available on DVD for the first time: Richard Kohn’s Destroyer of Illusion: The Secret World of a Tibetan Lama and Mark Elliott’s The Lion’s Roar.

You might recall of a post of mine from earlier in the summer about Festival Media’s DVD releases of Mickey Lemle’s Compassion In Exile: The Story of the 14th Dalai Lama and Gaetano Kazuo Maida’s Peace Is Every Step: Meditation In Action: The Life and Work of Thich Nhat Hanh.

As I said then, purchasing or renting these films is a great way to support the work of the Buddhist Film Society, which has sponsored the International Buddhist Film Festival for the last couple of years. I imagine it will also help them to make more films like these available on DVD.

You can also subscribe to Festival Media’s YouTube profile in order to receive trailers for new DVDs as they are released. Trailers for both Destroyer of Illusion: The Secret World of a Tibetan Lama and The Lion’s Roar appear below.
