NPR: "Rising Job Prospects for Chaplains"

Joyce Russell of Iowa Public Radio recently produced this report, which National Public Radio ran on its “Morning Edition” program.

The report examines the current trend of large American companies hiring chaplains to work with, counsel, and be available to employees. Russell talks with, among others, the chaplain on-duty at the Tyson Pork Processing plant in Perry, Iowa, and David Miller of the Yale Divinity School.

Although it is a somewhat short piece, I think it’s definitely interesting and certainly worth a listen.

Thanks to my friends Jennifer and Michael for tipping me off to this story.
