More on the Fate of the Buddhist AIDS Project

Awhile back, I addressed a question from Dukkha Earl about the status of the Buddhist AIDS Project. I have since received an update of sorts from Jeff Wilson, who I interviewed a few months back. He wrote the following to me in a recent email:

    I saw your question at your blog about the Buddhist AIDS Project. The Buddhist Peace Fellowship said they haven’t heard from the Project since [project coordinator Steve Peskind] died, and since it was an affiliate organization, they ought to know. They consider it defunct.

I’m sad to hear about the disintegration of the Buddhist AIDS Project, but I appreciate Jeff providing us with more information.
