Two More DVD Releases from the Buddhist Film Society, Inc.
Festival Media, the distribution service of the Buddhist Film Society, Inc., has just added two more titles to their growing catalog: Edward Burger’s Amongst White Clouds: Chinese Masters of the Zhongnan Mountains and Graham Coleman’s critically acclaimed Tibet: A Buddhist Trilogy.
I have not seen either title yet, but look forward to seeing both soon now that Festival Media has made them more widely available.
Regular readers might recall two past posts–this one and this one–about Festival Media’s DVD releases of Mickey Lemle’s Compassion In Exile: The Story of the 14th Dalai Lama, Gaetano Kazuo Maida’s Peace Is Every Step: Meditation In Action: The Life and Work of Thich Nhat Hanh, Richard Kohn’s Destroyer of Illusion: The Secret World of a Tibetan Lama, and Mark Elliott’s The Lion’s Roar.
As I said in the last post about this series, I think that purchasing or renting these films is a great way to (1) support the work of the Buddhist Film Society, which has sponsored the International Buddhist Film Festival for the last couple of years, and (2) help Festival Media be able to put more films like these on DVD.
Trailers for both Amongst White Clouds: Chinese Masters of the Zhongnan Mountains and Tibet: A Buddhist Trilogy are embedded below. If you have a YouTube account, I recommend subscribing to Festival Media’s profile in order to receive trailers for new DVDs as they are released.
