More Things You Can Do for Myanmar

As I mentioned Wednesday, Myanmar’s military junta began a violent crackdown on the pro-democracy demonstrations led by Theravāda Buddhist monks yesterday morning. I’m very sorry to say that the crackdown continues and intensifies at this very moment. So far, hundreds of monks participating in the “Saffron Revolution” have been arrested, even more tear-gassed, scores wounded, monasteries raided, and nine people (including monastics and a journalist) shot to death.
Below are some urgents actions that you can take part in. Please do so.
“>Amnesty’s International’s petition to George W. Bush, asking him to urge the U.N. Security Council members to immediately deploy a mission to Myanmar and take other necessary steps.
