World AIDS Day 2007
Today is World AIDS Day.
I had good intentions to make a new vodcast for the occasion, but I never got around to it. As a result, I’m posting an old one–but it’s one that hasn’t gotten nearly as many views as some of my other vodcasts. Please do take a look at it below. It’s me talking about some of the ways you can help fight HIV/AIDS online, and it also includes a reading from the Pāḷi Vinaya.
Also, keep the monastics, caregivers, and patients of Myanmar’s Maggin Monastery in your thoughts today. The Buddhist monastery, which provided hospice care for Burmese AIDS patients, was raided and closed down by the military junta on Thursday.
