BBC: Footage of the Clash that May Have "Sparked" the Violence in Tibet
by Danny Fisher
Via the Tibetan People’s Uprising Moverment: The BBC offers the exclusive footage below of a clash outside of what is “believed to be” Drepung Monastery. It’s possible the incident captured here may have “sparked” the violence in Tibet.

From video clips I have seen on YOUTube which is blocked by Chinese government, some clips were shot by western travelers, I saw riot, I saw crimes that were committed towards innocent people and businesses.
I don’t know how people with righteous minds can condone this kind of behavior, or just the innocent people in china are no longer innocent because they are living in a communist regime?
For Tibetans, if you believe in independent Tibet, fight by all means, but please don’t commit this kind of cowardly act towards innocent civilians, (some are women and children). Demonstrated in front of the government buildings, heck, burn a government building for a change. Because only cowards initiate these kinds of terror attacks on innocent civilians, for they can’t fight back.
I’m certainly not condoning the behavior that you’re mentioning, nor shying away from talking about it. I’ve mentioned in a few past posts about the Tibet situation that many of the casualities have been Chinese persons. I’ve also included video that you’ve mentioned, showing violence against innocent Chinese civilians.
His Holiness the Dalai Lama is not condoning this either, hence his talk of resignation if the violence does not abet.
Anyway, I’d take a closer look at the blog and what people are actually saying.
