Is Good Chaplaincy Measurable?
Via the M.D. Anderson Cancer Care Center’s Spiritual Pathways blog: The latest issue of The Hastings Center Report has a series of articles about “the profession of chaplaincy, the goal of patient-centered care, and the special challenges of defining, measuring, and improving quality in less-standardized areas of health care delivery.” I’m looking forward to reading a number of these pieces once I get a few more things off my desk. In fact, many of them sound like pretty essential reads.
