bamboo tube
by Danny Fisher
My friend Bill Hulley, an exemplary caregiver and one of the sharpest guys I know, has started a new blog called bamboo tube. Bill writes of the new blog:
- What is this blog going to be about? Good question. I am not sure yet. Some of it will appear in the intersection of worldviews that may or may not intersect: radical behaviorism as seen through the lens of contextualism and Vajrayana Buddhist practice. This is the crossroads I am exploring in my psychotherapy practice and the writing here will reflect what I am discovering there.
I also imagine that I will be sharing what I am learning about the nature of mindfulness, acceptance and change, both in my counseling work and my meditation practice. My writing in this vein will be experiential and personal though I won’t avoid writing about theory when theory needs to be written about.
You may know Bill from his excellent and now defunct blog possibility of fire. I think a lot of him and look forward to following his thoughts at bamboo tube.
