We’re Three Years Old Today
Last year, I talked a little bit about how suprised I was by how quickly the time had passed. I feel that way today, only much more so. “They grow up so fast!”
Once again, I find myself reflecting on the blog and its purpose. My mother might have nailed it yesterday:
- Buddhist and Buddhism anywhere in the news appear here as well as issues arising in the world of chaplaincy. Dan works the back links and highlights the writing of other Buddhist bloggers. Just enough of him appears from time to time to let the reader know he’s there and what he thinks and enjoys.
I still feel very much at peace with what I see as the blog’s formless and more journalistic qualities. Whatever it is that I’m doing, I think it’s helping me grow in my understand of both the Buddhadharma and ministry. Just as importantly, it has served me by helping me cultivate real-time friendships with many of you out there. I feel enormously grateful for that in particular.
That said, I’m curious: What would you like to see more of? Are there things you would like to see me address? Parts of myself or my work that you’d like to know more about? Styles of writing you’d like to see me tackle? I really want to know.
