The Onion‘s A.V. Club devotes this week’s “New Cult Canon” section to Joel and Ethan Coen’s 1998 classic The Big Lebowski. As I’ve previously mentioned here and here, this Chandler-esque tale of absurd L.A. intrigue also seems to have been co-opted by Buddhists as part of the canon of “Buddhist films.” If you haven’t seen it, give it a watch.
