That’s right, folks, set your DVRs. His Holiness the Dalai Lama will be on Larry King Live this coming Monday night. The LKL site says he will talk “about China, human rights and Haiti in his only interview after his controversial meeting with President Obama.”

I hope that Larry King does his homework on Buddhism before this interview. I remember watching him interview HHDL right after Hurricane Katrina, and he kept asking His Holiness, “In your religion, how is it possible that God can let this happen?” HHDL had to keep explaining that God isn’t a central concept in Buddhism. LK just couldn’t grock that. It was painful to watch.
