Today’s quote is yet another from our friend and former Naropa University professor Dr. Reginald A. Ray, whom I previously quoted and wrote a little biography for here.  This is it–posted today on the Facebook page for Vipassana at 1501 Scott:

To be awake, to be enlightened, is to be fully and completely embodied. To be fully embodied means to be at one with who we are, in every respect, including our physical being, our emotions, and the totality of our karmic situation.

The Next Film to Be Claimed by Us Buddhists?

Anticipation is reaching a fever pitch for Christopher Nolan’s new film Inception, which opens Friday and is his first since The Dark Knight.  Set “within the architecture of the mind,” little is known at this point about the plot.  That said, clips like the one below (with references to strong emotions and projections of mind) have me wondering how much this movie will resonate with those of us interested in the intersection of Buddhism and film
