U.S. Judge Determines that Walnut, CA, Civil Rights Case Involving Buddhist Temple Can Go Forward

Back in September 2010, I posted about the case of alleged religious discrimination against Chung Tai Zen Center that has led the Department of Justice to file suit against Walnut, CA. Then, last month, I brought you the news that “a U.S. District Court judge [was set to] determine…whether [that case had] enough merit to proceed.” Kyle at The Reformed Buddhist alerts us that the “judge has given permission for the U.S. Justice Department to go forward with a discrimination lawsuit against Walnut.” Read the rest of his post here.
