Eboo Patel Mentions University of the West’s Buddhist Chaplaincy Department (and Yours Truly) in His Recent [ALOUD] Conversation with Rev. Ed Bacon

Interfaith Youth Core founder Eboo Patel, my pal in all things interfaith, visited Los Angeles recently and participated in an [ALOUD] conversation with Rev. Ed Bacon, rector of Pasadena’s All Saints Church, at the Mark Taper Auditorium in the Los Angeles County Central Public Library.

I attended the event with my University of the West colleague Dean Vanessa Karam and some of our friends. It was absolutely wonderful — Eboo and Rev. Bacon are wise fellows indeed — and I was embarrassed when Eboo singled me out (twice), but also delighted that he sang the praises of UWest and our students in the Buddhist Chaplaincy Department (which I direct).

You can listen to a podcast of the whole event here. Eboo mentions UWest and me at around the 13:10 and 30:48 marks.
